Philip Merkel

Philip is a German Attorney at Law specializing in intellectual property law, particularly in trademark and competition law, as well as in distribution law.  In these areas, he provides comprehensive legal advice to national and international companies on strategic and operational issues as well as representing them before German courts.

Philip has been a German Attorney at Law since 2024 and been an Associate at SCHIEDERMAIR since then.

Philip studied law at the Johann Wolfgang-Goethe University in Frankfurt.   During his studies he worked at a large international law firm.  He completed his post-graduate legal training at the District Court of Frankfurt.
